360 Workplace’s parent company Fourfront Group raising £500,000 for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices

360’s parent company Fourfront Group have reached the fantastic milestone of raising £500,000 for charity Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

Fourfront has been a corporate partner of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices since 2008. Since then, Fourfront has undertaken a number of team and individual challenges as well as given their time to deliver refurbishments at their Hospices in Hampton and Guilford.

The latest fundraising initiative - Fourfront Group’s Apprentice Challenge - helped exceed the £500,000 mark. In October, 11 teams took over the charity’s shops in Twickenham, Hampton, Weybridge, Chiswick, Fulham Battersea, Whitton, Teddington, Cobham, Shepperton and Walton on Thames.

During the ‘Apprentice Challenge’, their fundraising mission was to encourage members of the public, family, friends, colleagues to donate prior to the event but also on the day.

Gary Chandler, CEO of Fourfront Group, said: “We have seen first-hand the incredible work and support that Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provides through the various Hospice refurbishments that the Group has undertaken. This has given us even more motivation to continue to support and fundraise for the charity.

Each employee is given three days off annually to undertake charity work and giving back to the community is an integral part of our culture. Many of us dedicate these days to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. I am proud to work alongside individuals at Fourfront Group who have taken part in a challenge over the years, whether it be a 40-mile walk or an office bake-off competition or a sky-dive. It has been a real team effort to reach the half million-pound mark - here’s to raising a million!”

James Cornwell, Director at Fourfront Group, adds: “our charity committee give up their time and effort to enable us fundraise this amount of money and we are extremely thankful to have these fantastically committed people in our business.

A special mention to a dedicated supporter of the charity, Justin Lewis. Not only Justin project managed the refurbishment at the Hampton Hospice this year, but he then took on the tough challenge of walking the Thames Path. Justin is a true Fourfronter who inspires us all to always be the best we can be.”

Alex Rennie, Corporate Relationship Manager at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, said “The support Shooting Star Children’s Hospices has had from Fourfront over the past 11 years is phenomenal. A massive thank you to everyone involved in reaching the £500,000 milestone. Over the years they have transformed areas in both our hospices into warm, welcoming and sensory spaces for the families and children we support, and taken part in a wide range of challenges to raise such a vast amount of money. Their support has meant we are able to continue providing the vital care so desperately needed by children and their families.”

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
