Fourfront Group is Certified as a B Corp

We’re very proud to announce our certification as a B Corp, joining a growing community of organisations, reinventing business  by pursuing purpose as well as profit.

We’re thrilled to have joined the B Corp movement – made even more special knowing we are one the first in our industry to achieve this prestigious certification – demonstrating our commitment to meeting the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

Fourfront Group, the parent company of 360 Workplace, Area, and Sketch Studios, join a network of over 6,000 Certified B Corporations from more than 160 industries and 89 countries with 1 unifying goal: to redefine success in business. B Corps are leaders of a global movement of people using business as a force for good™.

What does it mean to be a Certified B Corporation?

As a Certified B Corp, we have been recognised for meeting the highest standards for social and environmental performance. The B Corp complex and rigorous evaluation process measures a company’s entire social and environmental performance across five categories: governance, workers, customers, community, and the environment.

In order to get certified, companies must meet stringent requirements – completing a comprehensive assessment that measures social and environmental performance Companies must also provide evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to energy supplies, waste and water use, worker compensation, diversity and corporate transparency.

Being part of a community – the B Hive

The B Corp movement across the UK and wider Europe is growing faster than ever and we see great potential in working with this booming community. Together, we can learn and share best practices, as we look for new solutions to change the way businesses across the world operate.

“Being able to welcome Fourfront Group to the B Corp community is hugely exciting. Their commitment to doing business differently will be an inspiration to others and really help spread the idea that we can redefine success in business to be as much about people and planet as it is about profit”.

Our commitment

Our dedication to environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance is the foundation of our business success. Transparency and integrity align with our values of building trust and doing the right thing. Our ESG program is built upon four central pillars: people, planet, prosperity and principles. No matter what actions we take, we always ensure that critical business decisions are taken with due consideration to all aspects of ESG.

Our commitment to the environment has been recently validated by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi), who has certified our ambitious short-term and long-term targets. Climate change is the most urgent problem facing our planet today, which is why we’ve decided to take an active role towards reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and reaching net-zero emissions by 2050. Learn more about our SBTi validation here.

So, what happens next?

B Corp is more than just a certificate – it’s a mission and a chance to step forward. Recent attention on the construction industry makes our B Corp certification a notable action and signals a shift towards greater accountability and transparency across the sector.

Our commitment to continuous improvement is a key aspect of our B Corp certification and wider ESG goals across the group. In order to maintain our certification, we are required to recertify every three years, reassessing the company's performance and improvement efforts.

“We work everyday to balance purpose with profit – we need both!” says Aki Stamatis, Chairman at Fourfront Group. “This outstanding achievement shows our long-standing commitment to making a positive impact. We believe that businesses have a responsibility to address the social and environmental challenges we face, and we're proud to be part of a community of like-minded companies that are working toward a better future. We hope that our success will inspire many others in our industry to accelerate along this path”.
